Aaron Rothstein, M.D., is a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center’s program on Bioethics and American Democracy and an attending neurovascular physician and neuroepidemiologist. He completed his neurovascular fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and his residency in neurology at the NYU School of Medicine.
He is the author of the blog “Practicing Medicine” (2014–2021), which focused on the inner workings of the field of medicine and its theoretical, practical, and ethical complexities. He has also written for The New Atlantis, the Wall Street Journal, the Weekly Standard, and Commentary.
